Satellite-detected damaged sites in Chan Aye Thazan Township, Mandalay
According to satellite mapping, approximately 286 religious and ancient structures across five townships in Mandalay City—Aungmyaythazan, Chanmyathazi, Chanayethazan, Mahaaungmye, and Pyigyidagun—were damaged in the earthquake. It is estimated that the actual number of damaged structures on the ground is likely higher than the current records indicate. Damage maps for each individual township are provided below.
